A/C unit replacement cost?

Hi all,

Has anyone ever replaced either the cabin or the cockpit a/c unit on a 2008 45 Y, with a brand new one. I don't know what
btu size either one is, but both are shot on this boat i'm looking at and need to put a price for the replacement of both.

i last replaced one in 2016. it was a Dometic model BTU16k and was about $2900 with 4 hours labor...call it $3400 total. looks like the BTU16k has been replaced though with a new model at $2100...

Just did one in a 40PC 18 K unit, labor and materials was 5K And I have a used one that works fine and has a new $600 PC board for sale CHEAP LOL

Yes, a unit under the bed in owners quarters, one under sofa, nearest to steps in the salon, one in cockpit.
