A/C Question For Seasoned Owners

I just had my A/C serviced and all new hoses installed. The unit runs great and the cabin is ice cold. I noticed that when i return from a ride, the A/C expansion tank is empty and I get a HPV error on the display. There is no water pumping through the unit. When I crack the expansion tanks cap and let it fill with water, the A/C jumps to life and run perfectly. It is annoying to have to do this every time I go out. Any thoughts on how to correct this?

Mmmmmm, 400SS, wonder if that scupper is coming out of the water during running due to the hull design.

You could try shutting the AC through hull before you go for a run and then open it when you are ready to run again, you should still have your prime. At least that would help in trouble shooting....
