41 PC bow bed

Hey guys, I'm just curious if anyone knows the exact size of our 41PC V-berth bed OR better yet, a company that makes the exact match; I want to get a new mattress that is more comfy, my back killed me after spending 3 nights last weekend.

The original bed on our boat was absolutely horrible. We made a new one out of a queen size memory foam 8” thick mattress. Worked great and very comfortable. We used an electric knife to cut the memory foam mattress to size and shape. Took about an hour to cut it.
 
The absolute best in the market is Handcraft Mattress Company. We bought a System 4 for our 2005 Formula 34PC and never looked back.

It is a "King Size System 4, 1-Piece mattress with hinge-fold (Head-to-Foot)"

They had someone come template it, or you can do it yourself. We had a center hinge added so it could easily fold through the door and also bought their custom fitted and top sheets. Honestly the number 1 best purchase we made for the boat. Was the first addition we made. We will be buying a new one this year as we go through and update aged parts to bring it back to new.

first consideration is comfort. Not really too high. Got it on Amazon. This is the 3rd boat we have used this mattress in. $239 for a queen size. An hour cutting.

We have done a lot of canvas work and making cushions, etc. i laid the old mattress on top of the new one and marked the outline with a Sharpie. Then measured the angle on the sides of the front and marked them too. Then some cutting with an electric knife and it was done. The mattress came with a cover and we just put it back over the newly cut mattress. It is a bit big now but works ok. The fitted queen sheet went right onto the cut mattress and we used some mattress garters to pull it tight.
 
The boat has not been decorated yet since my wife is still cleaning it with a tooth brush…. With the taller mattress we actually get a bit more shoulder room since it gets wider as it gets taller. Not a lot more but I will take all I can get since it is a sorta small bed.
