I am looking at a 2001 37PC, it has a swim platform on it which looks like it’s all hydraulic. But the owner says it is a fixed platform and if you would like you can add the hydraulics and the remote for the platform so it’ll be operational, is that true or did the owner disable the platform in a fixed position and is trying to sell the boat with an on operational platform. Any help from anybody that owns this boat is helpful thanks I had a time

The boat has all this hardware on it, but it does not go up and down. Is that how it came from the factory where is the hydraulics broke?

I do not believe that any of the 37PC's had hydraulic swim platforms as an option. If memory serves me right, the 40 was the smallest boat to have one.

This boat is the 37/40 pc that is the actual platform , in the pics , the PO , said it’s stationary in less the the guts/hydrolics and remote are added ? I’m just trying to find out if it’s true or is it broke ?

The platform is aftermarket add-on.
It might be able to convert to full hydraulic, but it would be like remove that platform and install a "real" hydraulic platform. The deck is larger then ones Formula makes. The larger it is the more support structure it will need.

The guts will be more then just the pump and lines. It will need holes cut into the hull, similar to what is used now. No way I would even think about it

My platform on the boat looks exactly like yours the mounting in the tubes going up into the side but the previous owner said that it’s a stationary platform and does not go up and down unless you buy the added components. I’m trying to find out is that true or is he telling me that it’s stationary because it’s not operational at this time I don’t wanna get stuck with the bill to do the repair.
Thanks Jim L

I have the same model and year. My swim platform is fixed as well. They have all of the hardware to make it hydraulic, except for the hydraulic pump, rams, lines and remote. I think the cost of adding it would be cost prohibitive. I live without it and spend my $$ on other things that make more sense.

Where are you located? There is a similar boat for sale at the marina next to me.

Hi I’m in Ohio/Lake Erie/Marblehead, I talked to Formula, and that does come as a kit to change it over the kit now is $90,000, that’s what I was told directly from Formula, so of course it’s not cost-effective to replace it
