08 Formula 37 PC Water Accumulation in Front Under Berth Storage Compartments

Greetings Formula Enthusiast.

During the winterizing process we prop up the front berth mattress to allow it to get air under it.

On either side of the fresh water tank are two, independent storage bins/areas.

This year they both had a small amount of water in them, about the same on both sides.

The top of the water tanks was dry, and the overflow and automatic fill shutoff is working properly.

Anybody know where this may be coming from?

No other signs of water, but its unusual for it to be on both sides, unless there is a common drain path.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Most likely the anchor box or trim pieces need some caulking. I know if may sound crazy but had the same thing with my 07. Also power the bed upright and then behind / under it into the hull area. Basically behind the drawers under the bed in that hull area you will prob find more water

When you say trim pieces you mean the port hole windows?

i was also thinking rub rail thru bolts..

I know a 34PC with same issue.

Morning....just to make sure I (we ) are clear..is this where you are leaking ?

If so, I had moisture in my STBD side "hole" and for the life of me I still have not figured it out. If this is not where you are wet, then hopefully we can point you in the right direction.

Not where the water is on the 2007 34. There closer to the foot of the bed just forward of the table top storage and molded compartments. Maybe where your drill is in the picture.
Just below the port holes each side. 37 looks different

That's where I have water on my 2006 34PC, only on the starboard side. I ripped everything apart last fall and could not find the source. I was thinking of rebedding the window and possibly the stanchions and rub rail.

Nobody has a location listed, but if anyone boats in salt water have you tasted the water?

I'm in salt water and I did. The water was fresh. I also had water leak after I winterized the water system, so I know it is not from the potable water.

Thanks for all the input.

The water is pooling in the storage compartments left and right of the fresh water tank.

I'll have to pull the matress out and look further.

I would tend to think anchor locker as well.
