Been thinking about taking my props to Black Dog Props in MD over the winter for the past few years. Been putting it off due to costs and other projects. But now I have a 0% APR CC burning a hole in my pocket
Starboard has been 200 RPM behind port for as long as I've had the boat. Even after putting in new engines. (Wide open throttle).
Was thinking of having them not 'change' any part of the props, just make sure they are 100% as good as they can be. Reduce slip, vibration, etc. improve MPG lol.
Anyone else bother with this?
I could also flip the props left/right and just shift into R for a test, but that also changes props spinning in/out with twins.
Worth the cost to have them 'fix them up'? It's not cheap. Something like $250/prop I think last time I called. I'm sure its $500/each now, and if that's the case, not going to bother.

Is anyone else using a similar service? Worth the time/$?
thoughts?
thanks!
