had to notch the port side outer stringer for the Procharger.

This year I hope to add the 5 lb kit and some new engine covers and some powder coated parts to give the engine some Bling Bling.

Also buying the parts to put together another set of 496 Ho blower motors so I can get the horses up ....like to run about 95gps when all is said and done....

Daryl Johnson and the Formula Tech guys gave me the A OK to notch the stringer as shown

I did the mods in the winter of 04 so I was able to enjoy them this past summer....
She is sitting in a heated wharehouse right now waiting for me to unload some more $$

Why the nose cones?
What did you gain by adding the cones?

I know all the hydrodynamics.....etc?! But, did you actually GAIN anything with the cones.

I have heard mixed reviews on WHEN the cones really help.

I have given SERIOUS consideration to adding cones, if I thought it would help me, but have not seen anything that justifies them below 100MPH.

HAD THE NOSE CONES ON MY LAST BOAT RAN IN THE UPPER 80'S SEAMED TO HELP NON STEP BOAT THOUGH.. It was part of the on going steps to get to 95 cheap upgrade plus my drives got realy oxidized last year and Formula warrantied them because of electrical problem they found.This year I have the boat on a AIR-DOCK so no issues. at 83 gps no real advantage from what I can feelm so far.... but in the spring we tricked the computor and ran the engines to 5900 rpm and she was running in the mid 90's it seemed allot different .It was fast realy fast but at 5900 I don't think she would stay together long.
