LED Light Conversion

Hey all, trying to replace all of my standard light bulbs with LED's in my 1995 PC34. In the cabin these lights (attached) have 2 bulbs, old bulbs work fine but when I put the LED's in only 1 bulb works?? I am no electrician so hoping someone in the forum can help me.
Thanks all

LEDs require + and - on specific sides. filament bulbs don't care.

my guess is when this was wired, the one that's not lighting is backwards. Grab a voltmeter or multi meter, see if it reads negative.

I’m new here, but I know LEDs and electronics. Unless you personally know which one of the white wires is negative and which is positive AND also know which side of the bulb plug is negative and positive, then you need to assume it’s wrong. Many people here have had the exact situation with that light you have.

Use the bulb that’s lit in the “good” socket since you know it works. Put it in the “dead” socket. Then switch the white wires. That ought to do it. I prefer to solder rather than wire nut.

That's what the multimeter can tell you, if you hook it up correctly, and it's positive, then you know positive/negative. on mine, if it's backwards, it will show negative volts.
Mine is just the free harbor freight one :)

I know it’s been awhile, but on my newly acquired f36pc, the leds and fixtures work exactly as I stated above. By flipping the leads on the bulb fixture away from the switch side, both sides work fine with LEDs. I did it to a couple of mine by resoldering the leads. However I found that one LED in bright white on one side and one incandescent on the other made a nicer quality of light, while still giving at least some light when the incandescent burns out.....just my preference.
