I purchased my '89 242 SS in the fall of '99 as a piece of salvage having been declared as a total loss. It was in a storage rack and had the starboard side ripped open by a fork lift. Spent the next 2 years repairing and rebuilding. I can't say enough about the help I recieved from Formula. I got to be pretty good friends with Scott Tester at their tech support desk. No way I could have achieved the same quality without them. We have put about 300 trouble free hours on it since then and love it.
Looking forward to checking in on this forum. I still have a few parts and pieces I would like to find and hopefully I can make some new contacts, meet some other Formula owners and share what little I learned through my rebuilding if it will help anyone.
