Home port name with trailer boat

I was curious what people use for their home port in their boat lettering for a trailer boat. Currently I don't have it mine. Are there any rules as to this for a trailer boat?

Thanks for any input,
Bill

I have seen it where it is where you live or what marina location you keep it at, I used where i live and I think that is the majority.

It doesn't matter where you put! I know people in my marina who have Fiji, North Carolina, Miami, if its a documented boat it doesnt have to be a actual hauling port anymore! They just have to have a post office!

It always is, correct. However, the "port" doesn't even need to have water. Your hometown is sufficient.
