Hi everyone, my name is Dave and I just registered a couple of weeks ago. Just picked up my new-to-me 2001 28SS. The only thing that sticks about buying a boat this time of year is I have to wait 4/5 months to play with it!! Oh well....This is my second formula I've owned. My first one was a 1980 233 which is a great boat. I did keep it in the family by selling it to my oldest son, Justin who loves it. My wife and I have lived on Cape Cod in Falmouth since 1980 and boat as much as we can. We plan to expand our horizions with the 28SS with week long excursions and a lot of overnighters. Well just wanted to say hi and introduce myself and hope to see ya on the water.

Welcome. A bigger boat will expand your boating horizon. Then you'll be looking for an even bigger one......

Love your screen name. I'm assuming it is a musical reference. I'm a huge Mark Knopfler fan. My most memorable boat ride was a moonlight run on Lake Michigan, dead calm seas, with Knopfler's guitar flowing out of the speakers.
