Grasonville & NAMG

Rita, we will be visiting a marina/condo project in Grasonville in early March, can you tell me how far you are from there? Is it practical to think of your yard as a possible winter storage location? Thank you.

PS: Is Jamie still running the receptionist desk?

They operate out of the Bay Bridge Marina along with a dozen other dealers only the showroom is located in Garsonville and winter storage is an option.

That marina/townhome project is sweet. I thought about buying a slip there, but decided not to since I already own a slip. My group boats over to the Jetty all the time which is next door to the project you are talking about. As summerwind stated, their showroom and where they did the repairs to my boat are very close.

Going to Grasonville tomorrow, will have to see what the amenities are in the immediate area. Will probably stop back again on Thursday morning to check out NAMG, will drop hint to Rita to get someone there to check this board at least once a month! ::)

He Showed Up and of coarse I didn't check in to see that he was coming. I promise to start checking in at least once a week! ;D

As Rita said, I stopped by their showroom and service facility just off Route 50/301. When I dropped Gary Staley's name she said oh yeah, he comes to the Annapolis show with his wife! Looks like Gary should be angling for the 45 yacht they have sitting in the water. Rita is just like Formula folk, very friendly and accommodating, on the way out the door she said "hope to see you end of April at the in-water show" :D

i am really surprised rita did not close the door on you, when you mentioned my name. just kidding. they are great prople down there. are they going to be your new neighbors?

It is a great condo/marina project, superior construction with a ton of standards rather than having to select a bunch of options to make it right. And elevators instead of stairs was a nice bit of icing. But at $1.25 mil I came away wonder if they were reading American newspapers there or the Du'Bai Daily News! ::)

The Eastern shore is beautiful but 1.25 for a townhouse?
I think their marketing the DC crowd.
Whats the name of the development and do they have a garage?

It was 1.25 for a condo! As a realtor explained to me, you own a condo wall to wall, you own a townhouse AND the land under it, which makes a pretty big difference. The project is Wells Cove, and it is certainly being done right as far as construction goes. But it also appears they are not breaking ground relative to a structure until at least half of it is SOLD, this is not a speculation venture. Which also says to me they had better have a lot of leeway or wiggle room in regards to what they want to sell them for. But Steve, even with TWO 48's you still have to have a place to keep them ;) ;D ::)

Is Wells Cove the place right in front of the Hilton Garden Inn? At 1.25 mil, I suppose the finishes will be nice inside, but I'm not sure I could deal with the traffic noise of Rt. 50 at my front door. YMMV.

Nice marina behind that project though.

Yup - Hilton Garden Inn at your doorstep. However, one of the BEST tiki bars in the world would also be at your doorstep, Jetty Dock Bar.

Yeah! The sweaty-jetty...one of my favorite Kent Island haunts. That place rocks pretty well on Saturday nites in the summer.
Wells Cove is a nice marina, and the offices that are already built are very, very nice...I hope they get the residential portion going, so the place doesn't look half-finished.
