Thought I'd post this. I looked at a 1976 233 a few weeks ago. Its in running condition with a 233 MerC (Ford 351) Has new carpet and wood engine box that have been nicely done. Yes the cockpit IS carpeted. Cabin needs work. Cockpit Interior is a 7, although dated looking. Exterior is a 9. Boat is white with black bottom paint. There are some issues that need some TLC (Fuel delivery, remote tank hooked to engine, maybe some others). I looked at the boat on my own and did not talk to the owner, only his secretary. I guess its OK to post the phone number. Boat is in Brick New Jersey, HAS NO TRAILER. 732-840-1944. It is a nice looking boat, I checked it over pretty good but did not hear it run. I passed because I didnt like the carpeted sole.
