As the title says I have worked up a procedure to repair stripped out shift cable threads in the gimbal housings of Alpha drives.Cost is reasonable considering the cost of a new housing.

the threads are 1/4 18 NPSF , not tapered like pipe threads. and most of the kits for 1/4 pipe thread repair come with 10 inserts for north of $350. Not even sure theres enough material in the housing to go much oversized
