Exhaust tips inside of silent thunder? 253 BR with a 454...

Does anyone know what size exhaust tips are in that box? I want to remove it but would like to have clamp on mufflers in hand when I do (if they will fit) or replacement tips with removable inline mufflers. The boat is a 1993 252 BR with a 454 magnum. Thanks!
 
Should be 4". A quick check in your engine compartment would confirm this. Whatever is going through the transom on the inside is what will be on transom on the outside. Mine had just a small stainless tip, just enough to clamp the Salisbury flapper to

Is it a trumpet style tip or could a clamp on exhaust tip possibly fit it?
