Bravo 1 trailer tilt malfunction?

So, I have a 2013, 292 Fastech. When I use the Drive trim switch on the throttle, both drives go up and down as they should.

I have two trailer drive tilt switches, port/stbd. This overrides the trim limit switch so you can raise the two drives to the fully up position.

Problem I am having now is if I push the port trailer switch up/down, both drives move. And if I use the starboard trailer switch, both drives move also. No longer do the drives independently raise/lower

Does anyone have trim wiring diagram for this boat? Has anyone ever had this problem? Thank you in advance.

Did this happen all of a sudden, or was it like this?

I would check the wiring to see if the wiring from the 2 tilt(trailer) switches is frayed and touching each other . . . or if someone has jumpered the 2 switches together. You can Google the wiring diagrams for the Mercruiser tilt/trim . . . Formula uses the standard wiring for Mercruiser.

Yes it happened all of a sudden Ted. I looked on the internet and there are many different diagram. I'm looking for this particular boats diagram and connector placements. For instance, One diagram with a duel outdrives has a diode pack. Where is that? The same diagram has a terminal block inside the control box. Where is that? The relays for it? The only relays I found where on top of the engine, clearly labeled and they are not them.... Of course, this may not be a diagram for my boat.

Being this is a 2013 my guess is the trim is digital and it uses smartcarft to control, is this correct?

In that cases I would lean toward some kind of power trim synchronizer. Any label or switch with that kind of label?

What model binnacle throttle control do you have?

Boat doesn't have a synchronizer for the outdrives. Throttle switch operates perfectly. It's the port and starboard trailers switches that do not operate independently.

I understand what your saying that its the trailer drive switches. The issue is in order to have them both work at the same time and in same direction, power is applied to either the Blue/White (up) or Green/White (down) solenoids. If there are some diodes across the back of the trailer switches then this is a possibility, but if they are not present, I don't see how power would work consistently together.

Understand. I do not see any diode at the trailer switches. There are two diodes on the throttle switch. I checked the diode on the starboard up solenoid of the pump. That is good. I did not check the port diode at the starboard pump. Nor did I check the two diodes in the dash for the throttle switch. That's a total of four diodes. 1 wiring diagram that is closed to mine show six diode. I have no idea where there other two are, if there is two others. The wiring diagram may not even be for my boat

Anyone find out any more about the Mercury Outdrive Control Box?

I'm redoing my trim/trailer switches and this box is ticking me off.

thanks!
