Brake Actuator Replacement

As far as I can tell, this is the original, now 12+ yr old surge brake actuator.

I'd like to put on a new one this winter.

Anyone know what it is?

3" wide trailer. 5" span between the bolts on the trailer.

Ball on it is 2 5/16.

Good to hear.

Yea, I considered electric over hydraulic, but that's $$$

I only trailer 1x per year. (1 drop boat off, 1 pick boat up), so it's empty 50% of the time. Total boat on trailer is about 160 miles / year.

If I were to trailer thousands of miles a year. I would totally get a better system.

eTrailer confirmed that it will fit my trailer. Ordered. Found a 5% coupon online too!
