Blue Water Drain Plugs

Tired of breaking off and replacing the $4+ Blue plastic water drain plugs used on Mercruiser engines? I have a stainless steel replacement plug (see pic) available with rubber "O" ring included. They are $9.95 each, $36 for a set of 4 or $45 for a set of 5. You will never break and have to replace them again when draining your engine block.

Sorry for dragging up an old thread. Figured why not keep em all together...
Got sick of the cracked plugs also so I machined up a set from brass today. [emoji106][emoji2526]

I saw those. For sure that would be the way to go if I didn?t have some free time and a cnc mill in my basement staring at me like a an expensive solution in search of a cheap problem![emoji51]
One of my other hobbies is metalworking/machining I was able to learn some different programming strategies in CAM and try them out on these.
