45-48 Formulas for Sale?

FWIW, it is listed witht the broker i used to sell/buy my last two boats. The mover he would recommend moved my boat without incident (although a shorter distance), but I do know that he has moved several boats to the east lately and is well equipped to do so. I boarded the boat, it is worth a look.

Where does one boat in Scottsdale AZ? This boat must be a freshwater boat, right? I remember when I moved to Florida, I had a 30 foot boat which I had transported down and then had to have something done mechanically as it was used in Lake Erie and then became a vessel used in salt water.

I think I remember looking for a 48 and someone told me they were an unsuccessful boat for Formula because they were underpowered. Is that true?

The 47 was originally built with Volvo 480's I believe, but it was soon extended to a 48 in order to accomodate the bigger Cummins engines. Not sure what year this happened but the 47's were only produced for a short period of time.

That's definitely not accurate... I have had 3 different formula 40s with vdrive and also pods, and I just purchased a 48Y 2 weeks ago... That thing has some serious pull, feels much more powerful than the 40s, and faster to top speed...

What does the 48 have for power. The one I looked at in Connecticut had 480 Volvos
