2005 Formula Sun Sport SS_ help needed

Hi everyone,

Having issues with the boat getting on plane. The dealership said its going into guardian mode but Im unsure why!

2005 Sun Sport 260 SS.
6.2L MPI

Oil pressure is fine, engine temperature and batterys are also fine.

When we go to accelerate the boat tries to get in plane. It gets roughly between 2500-3000 RPMs, a warning alarm comes on and it immediately slows back down to 1000 RPMs. Since there is no indicator lights I?m lost. All fluids are full, I?m in need of some suggestions.

Has anyone experienced this issue?

Do you know if the volt meter is doing anything odd?

Nothing that stands out. I have a friend bringing over a reader today to check the fault codes.

Water pressure sensor would be most probable

Thanks all! The diagnostic tool did not work on this model. I will look into the water pressure sensor next. Just need to locate it

What is your serial number?

It should be behind the motor on the power steering cooler

Those O's are zero's

The switch is item 17, and can notice by the price Merc is really proud of them
