I have seen many posts with people fishing around postson this site and other with people having a very similar issue as Idescribed above.
Boat was running great, then stalled. Briefly restarted, idled for a second, stalledwould not restart.
Went through all the scanner codes and replaced IAC... Nothing.
Talked to a mechanic and he mentioned to try to drain air from the Fuel Railvia the Schrader Valve. Full of Air, drained it, ran like a champ. Idled for 10minutes started to stumble and stalled. Same stuff. Drained, started and ranwell again for a while.
So where was the air coming from? Cool Fuel, Fuel Line, Fuel Pick or Tank.
Hooked an external tank to the Cool Fuel System. Ran well for 30 minutes. So I ruledour the Motor and Cool Fuel.
Pulled off Fuel Hose - looked good. Pulled out Pick up tube in tank. Quite abitch by the way. Plastic tube on 90 deg fitting was very loose. Clear possibleleak point.
Very hard to find commercially. Final found at Florida Marine Tank. http://www.floridamarinetanks.com/
They admitted there were problems with the way they applied the pick ups in thepast. New ones were $40 each replaced both. No problems.
Drove me crazy, just hoping I can help someone else.
