Refinishing paint on arch

Has anyone had any luck repainting the arch. My 02 370ss has some flaking and bubbling on the arch.
Would like to find the method of sanding, filling and painting with correct color code and materials .

Formula will sell you the correct color. Contact TAG. Not sure if yours is aluminum, but use the correct primer for aluminum if it is.

GSENT, Thanks for the reply. It is aluminum. Did you have to use any fillers or just sanding primer to get correct height before painting?

You will need to grind or sand the bubbles out, fill the voids with filler, (I used Duraglass as it is waterproof) and prime.

Team Archer here in Costa Mesa repainted mine after IRMA. Its almost a circus stunt to paint, inside curves, outside curves plus radius tucked in and out. Came out great but not easy. Formula has a fab shop make these, what a metalart project....

We thought about that. All the wires and cables. Then build a jig to hold it somewhere and then flop it over. Just equipped Dan with a acrobat suit and plastic and tape the entire boat...No perfect solution.
Nice project though

Thanks guys, I'm going to look for some of the duraglass and see if an autobody paint shop can mix up the paint recipe that Formula sent to me.
I'm sure I'll be hearing "circus music "in my head while performing this repair.

Were you able to get this repaired? Looking at a 370 with the same issue
