Hello , I have a 2006 34 ' Formula. Twin 8.1 HO. V drives, very loud , stock no mods but loud to the point after a couple of hours its annoying. Has anyone come across one of these and found solutions to quiet it down. thanks appreciate any info

Hi, This is my first season with this boat. It is a 1985 Formula PC with twin Merc 260's. 28 feet long. It has alpha 1s with 15x16p props. Love the boat except for the speed . I max out at 31mph at 4500 rpms. Does this sound normal, I think it is a bit slow. FYI , motors run great , new carbs ...
