There IS a place out there that has the carpets. We bought one a few years ago and are extremely happy with it. I'm not sure if they have all Formulas but they had one for our '09 260 SS. Tomorrow I will try to find the manufacturer so I can send you the details.

We have an '09 260SS, obviously lighter than your boat, but have always had good luck with a double axle trailer. I believe that unless you have a very heavy boat, stick with 2.

Mystery solved, thanks guys, never thought to look on the transom! I will be getting the gimbal bearing serviced and hope that the techs can figure out why the drive is returning to the full down position on its own. Any ideas on that?

Here's what I did. Just cut out the bottom of a plastic drink holder and insert a fishing rod holder. I can even raise the engine hatch without the rods falling out (not while fishing, however :cool:).

After 16 years of owning 2 260 SSs, I finally decided to name it. Has anyone tried to remove the 260 SS decal, or any other Formula decal for that matter, on the stern above the swim platform? Any suggestions as to how to get it done? thanks, Peter
