I just closed on a 2004 Formula 40PC. This is my first Formula and first diesel boat (yamnar 440's). Now I am waiting for it to be shipped. Can't wait for it to arrive! I will post a pic or 2 when it gets here.

The 40's with the Volvo IPS drives are heavier than the older boats with the Yanmar package. Formula lists the 2003 dry weight with Yanmars at 19,300 pounds. I figure that gives me 1000-1500 pounds in fuel/water/gear without pushing my 20k lift too far over the capacity. I will never put it...

Has anyone replaced the deteriorating wall covering in the interior of the 40 PC. If so what product was used and how was it done?

I hope to be closing on my first Formula in a few weeks, a 40 PC with Yanmar 440's. I need to move the boat about 1200 miles. The engines will be fully serviced before the trip. What kind of fuel burn (MPG) should I expect at a 26-27 mph cruise and at slow speeds like 7 mph? I am assuming 27...

Does anyone know the proper spacing for a 40PC? My bunks are 7-7.5 inches tall above the cradle I-beam.
