I find mine runs very true to factor specs. While i am not a guy that runs wide open much I do like a good turn of speed at an economical cruise. One of the most impressive aspects of these boats is that they are large and comfortable but have a heart and soul of a sport boat. I have to be careful when getting on plane as it will knock people down if they are standing when the turbocharges then supercharges kick in. When cruising it responds to the helm input like a sports car. Anytime I take boating friends out on the boat they are surprised at the speed and the way the boat handles.
Here is the specs for the speed.
RPM 2000 MPH 10 GAL/ PHR 13
RPM 2500 MPH 18 GAL/PHR 21
RPM 3000 MPH 27 GAL/PHR 28
RPM 3200 MPH 32 GAL/PHR 32
RPM 3400 MPH 34 GAL/PHR 36
RPM 3730 MPG 37 GAL/PHR 43
The boat I owned before this one was a Sea Ray 48 Sundancer while that was a great boat the Formula is head an shoulders above the Sea Ray in fit and finish, quality, speed and sport boat feel.
